WUOC Sprint
The sprint this afternoon was in the city of Alicante starting on
the top of the Castillo de Santa Barbara. The course was tough with 135m of
climb but there was also a lot of fast downhill running too. Another warm day
28C but it was not that bad for a sprint. I made a few bad mistakes and ended
up in 79th place which is far from ideal. Lots of narrow streets and
stair cases made it very tricky. Middle distance tomorrow, I start at 8:44am,
better get to bed… One more chance for a decent race!
